Lakota Community Cookbooks — On Sale Caris Conrad, a Lakota student and member of the Crazy Clover 4-H group, chose a self-determined project for a 4-H project. With the help of her mom, Amy Conrad and her grandmother, Bonnie Findlay, Caris put together a 450 recipe cookbook entitled “Let’s Eat- Lakota Raider Recipes”. Caris presented her idea to the Lakota Music Boosters and the boosters decided to financially back her project. Caris’ intent behind the project is that Lakota’s music students will directly benefit financially- help with fees for contests, festivals, performing outfits, summer music camps, marching/concert band needs, etc. The cookbooks are available for sale. Contact a member of the Music Boosters or director. The cookbooks are selling for $12 each or 2 books for $20. Personal checks are payable to Lakota Music Boosters. They’ll make terrific gifts for favorite culinary artist or for someone just learning to cook!
