Congratulations to the Following Lakota Musicians!

If you see any of the following students, please congratulate them on their accomplishments in music!

Zoie Lamb:

Zoie performed at OMEA’s Virtual Solo and Ensemble with a Class A Mezzo Soprano song. Class A is the most difficult level of high school music and is often used for college music auditions as well as college-level undergraduate performance music. Zoie’s hard work earned her a Superior Rating, the highest possible score.

Cash Allen, McKayla Firsdon, and Abby Zuhlsdorf:

All three students auditioned and were selected for OMEA’s District Honors Choir. District Honors Choir is an ensemble consisting of students who worked hard to stand out and be selected from schools in OMEA’s District 2. District Honors Choir is similar to districts for athletics. Those accepted into Districts have the opportunity to work toward All-State as well. This is McKayla’s second year after being selected her sophomore year before the pandemic.
