From the Desk of Dr. Chad Coffman
I would like to thank everyone for the warm welcome I have received at Lakota. I have enjoyed meeting many people and I continue to enjoy meeting the students, parents, staff members, and community members. The staff has worked very hard to prepare for the first day of school on August 29, 2017. I can tell everyone is excited to begin the year.
Please do not hesitate to introduce yourself. My goal is to learn all I can about the Lakota School District and the community. The best way for that to happen is meeting and talking with people. A second way is by going to the link https://goo.gl/forms/Gz8plVG4zcFPHMxE2 which will give you access to a short survey asking for what you are most proud of and areas of improvement for the Lakota Schools. I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with me.
I am very excited to begin my first superintendent position. I was a high school principal for 15 years at Avon High School and Parma Senior High and I worked in the central office at Parma the past school year. The opportunity of working in a district with friendly and supportive people as well as having a beautiful school facility is a dream come true.
I believe in making decisions in the best interest of our students. I look forward in working with the staff, parents, community members, and students in continuing to provide an excellent educational experience for our students.
